Help us Help You  We are committed to a safe reopening experience for you and appreciate your commitment to keeping us safe as well. A visit to Retzlaff Vineyards may look slightly different these days, but what hasn’t changed are our high standards of hospitality and the quality of our wines!

How we are protecting you

Giving you space: Our tasting room lawn will allow for ample space between tables. Additionally, to allow space for social distancing, only those with an existing reservation or those arriving for curbside pick-up are able to be on the grounds. If you have not made a reservation please call before your visit to see if we are able to accommodate you, we will do our best.

Keeping it clean: Tables and chairs are disinfected with commercial strength disinfectant before and after each reservation. All non-disposable items are sanitized with high heat and commercial cleaning products. Our staff washes and sanitizes their hands before handling clean items.

Masking up: Our staff undergoes pre-shift health screenings and wears masks. They will remove their masks only if 6’ distance can be maintained.

How we ask you to protect us

Respect our space: Please observe our current reservations policy. We have limited the number of visitors to the property to ensure plenty of space to practice social distancing. Parties are limited to 6 or fewer guests. Children between 2 and 12 years are not allowed at this time. We will meet you at the check in station on the tasting room lawn to confirm your visit. While here, please diligently maintain a 6’ social distancing from anyone not in your immediate party. If you have not yet signed the Covid19 liability waiver you will be asked to sign it before being taken to your table. Please stay home if you are not feeling well.

Help us keep it clean: Table reservations are limited to 2 hours to give us time to disinfect between each seating. We appreciate your cooperation. Please bus your own table. Trash receptacles are conveniently located in the picnic area. You will find hand sanitizer stations have been added to supplement frequent hand washing.

Wear a mask: If you arrive without a mask, one will be provided. You’re required to wear it anytime you aren’t seated at your table enjoying your wine. Any guest failing to maintain social distancing or refusing to wear a mask will be asked to leave.

Be mindful: This is new to all of us. Please treat our staff and fellow guests with patience and kindness. We promise to do the same and will do everything we can to make your visit truly enjoyable.

Picnicking: Picnicking is not permitted on the weekends when a caterer is scheduled. Please check our events calendar for the caterer of the day.

Minimum wine purchase: Grounds Reservation: The purchase of one bottle for every two quests is required. The minimum applies to the group size. Maximum size 6 persons.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are looking forward to your visit.

Thanks for your continued support!

Retzlaff Vineyards and Estate Winery is a spectacular location.  Off the beaten path yet close to town, we are part of of a historic Victorian estate.  The large grounds are nestled among ancient pepper trees, beautiful landscaping and sprawling vineyards. It is a place where time slows down. People gather to relax and savor the company of good friends and good wine in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

At Retzlaff we believe exceptional wine comes from exceptional grapes. The vines have been lovingly tended for over 30 years using common sense sustainable practices which eliminate the need for chemical intervention.
No pesticides, no herbicides, no fertilizers, non GMO.

“Our wines reflect the terroir of our vineyard, the age of our vines and the character of the grapes. Our trademark is a long, elegant finish.” Gloria Taylor
